Irish Exchange Program

Herberger Young Scholars Academy has a unique exchange partnership with the world class Dublin City University, in Dublin, Ireland, and their Center for Talented Youth. Each year, at the start of the school year in August, a contingent of highly gifted Irish students come for a 3 week exchange experience at Herberger Young Scholars Academy.
Exchange students are hosted by Herberger Young Scholars Academy families, and become embedded in the school community and life, including attending Camp Tontozona.

In February, Herberger Young Scholars Academy 2nd year A-Level students travel to Dublin, in exchange, and are hosted by the families of the very Irish students who came in August. For 3 weeks, Herberger students attend classes with the CTY students and get to experience a deep immersion in a new culture and country.
The Gary K. Herberger Young Scholars Academy seeks and accepts students for admission without reference to race, color, religion, age, disability, national and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or gender. Admissions and financial aid decisions are made independently.
